Originally recorded in 2015 as one of the first official releases when I decided to run w/ with the moniker, 'Elder Orange' -- this track has always been near and dear to me. Updated with all new instrumentation and a beautiful drum performance from my close friend Ryan Hare, this is a chance to revisit and spit-polish a tune that I might have otherwise kept locked up in the vault. Enjoy.
And we could live
in a cabin in the woods
not saying that we should, but that it's an option
and we could eat of the flowers and the trees
of the water from the streams of our subconcious
trace our fingers long upon
the rib cage of the dawn
carried away, carrying on.
And we could live in a cabin in the woods
not saying that we should, but we might just like it
and we could swim, let our bodies dive and dip
wash our laundry with our cares on down the current
pause our breath and rest
while the energy manifests
carrying more, carrying less

I've been working with DQ since 2006 in varying capacities. This is objectively one of the best records in my collection, and I'm honored to have a feat. on a few tracks. Prioritize this one, folks. Elder Orange
